The Band Of The Irish GuardsThe Irish Guards was formed on 1 April 1900 to commemorate the bravery of the many Irish regiments which fought in the South African campaigns. Under the direction of its first Bandmaster, Warrant Officer Charles Hassell, the Regimental Band made its first public appearance the following year.
The Band quickly gained a reputation for excellence as evidenced by the glowing press reports in 1905 for what turned out to be the first of many tours of Canada. The citizens of Toronto were so impressed with its performance that they presented the Band with an ornate silver cup, which remains one of its cherished possessions to this day.
Read more.....Royal Canadian Mounted Police Pipes and DrumsThe Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) H Division Pipes and Drums was formed in May 2004. Based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, it is one of eight RCMP volunteer pipe bands located in communities across Canada.
The other seven pipe bands are based in Moncton, New Brunswick; Montreal, Quebec; Ottawa, Ontario; Winnipeg, Manitoba; Regina, Saskatchewan; Edmonton, Alberta; and Vancouver, British Columbia.
The band is comprised of volunteers from throughout Nova Scotia who come together to share and showcase their musical talent and help bring the community closer to its national police.

The Band was raised in November 1859 as part of an Indian Army Gurkha Regiment called the Sirmoor Rifle Regiment. It had 16 Bandsmen and one Naik (a leader) and soon became a part of Regimental life, playing for parades, polo matches, dinners and troop entertainment at the Regimental base at Dehra Dun, North East of Dehli.

Each member of the Flag Party volunteers their time to attend parades, concerts, ceremonies and other performances with the RMCP H Division Pipes & Drums. Participating in more than a dozen performances per year, the Flag Party is a highly visible and very popular component of the Pipes & Drums.

The troupe is comprised of experienced dancers, most of whom, after years of dedicated training and practice, have earned their 'Premiere Dancer' designation. Individually, the dancers each bring an extensive list of competition and performance experiences, both locally and internationally.

They were formed in 1911 and are one of Northern Ireland's most well known and respected melody flute bands. The band are involved in all of the major loyal order parades throughout the year, and in July 2015 were very proud to have led the Belfast 12th July procession for the 40th successive year!
